We sail from the Marina Piccola in Sorrento, we cruise past Massa Lubrense (fishing village) and the Amalfi coast, admiring places like Nerano (a noted fishing village famous for its traditional dish “spaghetti alla nerano”, spaghetti with courgettes/zucchine served at the various local restaurants in the bay that attract VIPs from all over the world) the li Galli island (the renowned archipelago made up of 3 small islands: the main island il Gallo Lungo dominates La Rotonda and Dei Briganti. In 1989 Rudolf Nureyev, the famous Russian dancer, bought the archipelago. On his death in 1993 the property was bought privately). We then arrive in Positano where you will have 1/2 hours of free time to visit this small town and its characteristic winding streets.
Back on board we sail cruising past Praiano (a town in Salerno), the ford of Furore (a small ford located in the heart of the Amalfi coast, known for the world diving competition from a great height, this takes place every summer from the bridge which is 30 metres/98 feet above the bay), Conca dei Marini (another town in Salerno) on the way to Amalfi, where there will be the second stop of the excursion. As in Positano, you will also have 1/2 hours of free time to visit the antique Marine Republic with its main attractions like the cathedral and the historical centre.
